You can book balloon safaris any time of the year. The evening prior to the balloon flight, the flight crew will visit you at your safari lodge or tented camp in Masai Mara or Serengeti for briefing and confirm the time they will pick you the following morning.

Typically, the Balloon Safari starts around 0600hrs and lasts slightly over an hour (weather permitting), followed by champagne breakfast in the bush!

At around 0730hrs, you are very content with balloon safari . . . but it's time to touch down. You join fellow passengers in celebrations, and for those who prefer a toast, champagne is served, as hot breakfast in the bush is being prepared. As the sweetness and aroma of the African coffee surrounds you, with fresh eggs being served as you like it, you yearn for another ride, and wish that such luxury never ended.

At around 0900hrs, you have been declared a champion, a mighty certificate of completion handed out to you which you can display in your house when you return home or show your family, friends or colleagues at work. You are then driven back to the lodge/camp with a game drive en route to re-unite with your driver/guide to continue with the rest of your itinerary.
