The only mandated vaccination is Yellow Fever for anyone visiting a country within the tropics. However we highly recommend that all travellers are up to date with their vaccinations for other diseases such as hepatitis A, typhoid, cholera and meningitis.
Other considerations are the influenza vaccination and the rabies vaccine if you are likely to be handling animals.
Malaria is present in most African countries and it is important to take precautions such as using mosquito repellent, long-sleeved clothing and a malarial prophylactic.
