Our wildlife safari in Kenya and a holiday at Watamu takes you to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo West national parks. If you take a Kenya safari between July and October, you’ll enjoy a wildebeest migration safari at Masai Mara where you’ll witness herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Afterwards, enjoy a honeymoon package in Kenya at Turtle Bay Beach Club in Watamu near Malindi.

Day 1: Nairobi
Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
After breakfast, depart Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve to start your honeymoon safari in Kenya. Arrive at Mara Leisure Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in the neighboring Tanzania called Serengeti. It is a home to the “big five" lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and elephant as well cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of wildebeest, plain antelope and numerous and other African wildlife.

Day 3-4: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River and in Masai Mara plains in search of the Big Five.
After lunch, set off for afternoon game drives. Don’t forget this is the right time to spot the shy leopard. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Mara for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy your lunch at Flamingo Tented Hill Camp and then set off to Lake Nakuru National Park for extensive afternoon game drives. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi – Amboseli
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, set at the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro and famous for its herds of elephants. Stop at Nairobi for lunch at Jacaranda Hotel. Game drives en route the lodge.
NB: We have chosen Amboseli Sopa Lodge for you because it’s the only lodge that gives you the best view of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro at dawn.

Day 7: Amboseli
Full day game drives in Amboseli National Park in search of herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds.

Day 8: Amboseli – Tsavo West
After breakfast, depart Amboseli through the Shaitani lava plateau to the legendary land of the “Man-Eaters" – Tsavo National Park. Enjoy your lunch at your lodge before another exciting game drive in the park. This wilderness is home too over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino and at least 7000 elephants. Visit Mzima springs where you view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and bird life

Day 9: Tsavo West – Watamu
After breakfast, drive down to the Kenyan Coast (carrying packed lunch) for your holiday at Malindi. You’ll be dropped off at Turtle Bay Beach Club in Watamu. The hotel also offers a wide variety of watersports, which you can book at your own cost. Accommodation on full board.

Day 10-13: Watamu
Relax on your own at the Indian Ocean beach.

The check policy is at 1000hrs. After lunch, transfer to Malindi Airport to catch your Kenya Airways Flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. You will then connect your international flight home.
