KT 05: 13 Nights/14 Days Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara & Amboseli Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Nairobi

Our Kenyan representative will receive you on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and arrange for your transfer to the Holiday Inn Hotel on bed and breakfast only.

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru driving across the Great Rift Valley, with Mt Longonot in the background. You will also see the enchanting Lake Naivasha, the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes.

You arrive at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp in time for lunch and then go an afternoon game drive. The park is renowned to be a bird watchers’ paradise due to the numerous populations of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore. Apart from these flamingos and other over 400 species of birds, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake.

Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. We have a late evening game drive. Return for dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp, which has small and exclusive 25 tents.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Early breakfast at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp and then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve where you will spend four nights. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Karen Blixen Camp, set on the bank of the Mara River. The camp consists of 22 luxurious tents.

Day 4-6: Masai Mara

Breakfast at lodge and then leave at 0900hrs with picnic lunches for a full day game drive inside the Park. Between meals there is optional visit to the Maasai villages for an insight to their culture. You are free to arrange each day’s programme with your driver/guide.

Day 7: Masai Mara – Serengeti

You will check out of your Mara lodge after breakfast with packed lunch and drive to Serengeti via the Isabenia border. On arrival at the border point, you will be met by our Tanzania driver/guide and proceed to Serengeti to arrive late in the evening.

Day 8-10: Serengeti

Full day in Serengeti. Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous due to annual migration of over one million white bearded wildebeest and 200,000 zebra to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve in search of pasture.

The Seronera Valley in the Serengeti is famous for the abundance lion and leopard that can usually be seen quite easily. The adult male lions of the Serengeti have characteristic black manes.

Day 11: Serengeti – Lake Manyara

Depart Serengeti after breakfast and travel to Lake Manyara National Park, whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Arrive in time for lunch at Kirurumu Tented Lodge.

Day 12: Lake Manyara – Arusha – Amboseli

Depart early after breakfast. Brief stop at Impala Hotel for early lunch. Our Tanzania guide will then take you to the Namanga border point and hand you over to our Kenyan guide, who will take you Amboseli National Park. Check in at Tortilis Camp and relax for an hour. Late afternoon game drive in search of herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds.

Day 13: Amboseli

A dawn game drive will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro the highest peak in Africa. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxing, sunbathing, swimming or for those of you reading enthusiasts, you can read the day away in the well-stocked library with a relaxing view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

Day 14: Amboseli – Nairobi – Depart Home

You depart Amboseli mid-morning carrying packed lunch. Make a brief stop on way to Nairobi to enjoy your lunch. Continue with journey to Nairobi and drop at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight home.
