This African safari takes you to Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa Safari. Wildlife safaris to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Kruger. Take the world famous Blue Train from Cape Town on an overnight journey to Pretoria and you will never forget this African adventure.
Day 1: JRO – Arusha
Our Tanzanian representative will receive you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer you to Arusha for overnight on Bed & Breakfast at Impala Hotel.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lunch at Kirurumu Tented Lodge. Afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater and arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day of game drive.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti
After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park, via Olduvai Gorge archaeological site, with game viewing en route in the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti
After breakfast depart for a whole day of game drives in the Serengeti National Park on the wildebeest migration trail.

Day 6: Serengeti – Masai Mara
After breakfast transfer to Isebania border carrying packed lunch. To be picked from the Isebania border by our Kenyan guide and continue with safari to Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for wildebeest migration.

Day 7: Masai Mara
Morning balloon flight. A representative of Balloon Safaris Ltd will pick you from your lodge and take you for a balloon flight and bring you back. Link up with your driver/guide and continue with your itinerary. Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe. (You’ll pay USD35 per person per visit directly to the village)

Day 8: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Depart Mara for Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp followed by an extensive afternoon game drives in the park.

Day 9: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the Rift Valley View Point to view the escapement and the Mount Longonot in the background and photographing. Continue with your journey to Nairobi. Stop at Westlands for lunch at your own cost. Transfer to Panafric Hotel for evening rest and overnight. Accommodation at Panafric will be on bed and breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant where you can buy dinner (at your own cost).

Day 10: Nairobi – Cape Town
After breakfast, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your 0730hrs South African Flight No SA183 to O.R Tembo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa. Arrive at 1050hrs and walk across to domestic departures and connect with the 1300hrs SA 337 flight to Cape Town where a representative of Cape Town Lodge Hotel will meet you at the airport on arrival at 1510hrs for a private road transfer to their hotel. Accommodation is based on bed and breakfast in a superior double room.

Day 11-12: Cape Town
Spend whole day in Cape Town. You’ll plan and book your activities at your own cost.

Day 13: Cape Town – Blue Train Journey
(Train operates Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays)
Early morning transfer from Cape Town Lodge Hotel to Blue Train (included).
07:50 – 08:30 Register and check-in at The Blue Train Lounge, Cape Town Station. You will travel in a Luxury Double cabin. Guests enjoy pre-departure snacks and drinks.
08:30 Boarding starts. Butlers usher guests to their suites. Suite orientation done by butlers.
08:50 The Blue Train departs from Cape Town Station
10:30 – 12:30 First sitting for Brunch
12:30 – 14:30 Second sitting for Brunch
14:35 – 15:15 The Blue Train arrives at Matjiesfontein for a 45 minute off-the-train excursion.
On arrival at Matjiesfontein guests are invited for a glass of sherry at the bar. The sherry glass engraved with The Blue Train logo is a memento for guests to keep. The Victoria buildings and original nineteenth century London lampposts impart to the traveller, the uncanny sense of entering a colonial time warp – an oasis suspended in a different age.
15:20 The Blue Train departs for its northbound journey to Pretoria.
15:30 High tea is served in the Lounge Car.
17:00 After an exciting interlude, guests are free to refresh themselves and enjoy pre-dinner drinks at any one of our lounges.
18:30 First sitting dinner
Remember, dinner is an elegant affair and men are requested to wear a jacket and tie and ladies elegant evening wear.
20:30 Second sitting dinner
Day 14: Pretoria – Johannesburg
07:30 – 10:00 Breakfast is served on a first come first serve basis. Breakfast can also be served in-suite at the guests’ request.
12:50 The Blue Train arrives at Pretoria Station. Lunch on your own in Pretoria. Afterward, walk to the offices of Avis Point to take a taxi (cost included) to Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg. Accommodation on bed and breakfast.

Day 15: Johannesburg – Kruger Park
You’ll board a Birchwood Hotel shuttle bus to O.R Tembo International Airport. You’ll head to the Federal Air Charter boarding lounge to catch your 0915hrs flight to Skukuza Airstrip. A representative of Jock Safari Lodge will receive you and transfer you to their lodge where you will stay for 2 nights. Jock Safari Lodge incorporates the romance and elegance of the past colonial era, reflecting in a unique style the Zulu and Shangaan cultures. Magnificent trees and an abundance of bird life surround the Lodge. From here our two track roads take you into 6000 ha of exclusive traversing in the first private concession set in over 2 million hectares of the Kruger National Park.
