Masai Mara game reserve is the top tourist attraction in Kenya. The world-famous wildebeest migration from Serengeti in Tanzania is witnessed in Masai Mara between July and October every year, attracting thousands of tourists to witness and capture the wildebeests crossing The Mara River in the game park. At Masai Mara, you get to see a plethora of African wildlife, including all the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo. For birding enthusiasts, there are over 1400 species recorded in Masai Mara.
Day 1: Nairobi
Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you in a tourist safari van to Safari Park Hotel for overnight on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Sweetwaters (Mt Kenya)
After breakfast, you start your Kenya safari by departing Nairobi and for Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in Mt Kenya region, driving through Central Kenya. Lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Here, you can do day and night game drives around the private conservancy, which is home for the members of the “Big Five” (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard).
A sheltered oasis, clustered around a waterhole, Sweetwaters Tented Camp is in a class of its own. Overlooking a floodlit waterhole, the camp offers visitors an unforgettable opportunity to watch and photograph animals in their natural habitat as well as enjoying magnificent views of the snowcapped peaks of Mt Kenya. Each tent has a thatched roof, an en suite bathroom and its own veranda with views over the waterhole.

Day 3: Mt Kenya – Aberdares
After breakfast, depart for the nearby Aberdares National Park. Lunch at Aberdare Country Club. Access to the park by private vehicles is limited to conserve and protect the environment which hosts wildlife such as elephant, rhino, buffalo, bush bucks, giant forest hogs, Sykes monkey, leopard, and bongo. After lunch, a representative of The Ark Lodge will transfer you to their lodge. This tree-lodge is uniquely shaped to resemble the actual Ark, designed with decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the salt-lick and waterhole. A ground-level bunker at The Ark provides excellent photographic opportunities, and the Yasabara waterhole is floodlit by night to enable all-night viewing of game.

Day 4: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, a driver of The Ark Lodge will transfer you back to The Aberdare Country Club where you’ll reconnect with your driver/guide and then depart for Lake Nakuru, with a brief stop at Thomsons Falls. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is usually dotted with pink flamingoes lining its shores. After checking in and having lunch at the lodge, you set off to Lake Nakuru for extensive game drives where you can expect to see leopards, lions, giraffes, a million or so of pink flamingoes as well as black or white Rhinos.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara Game Reserve through the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive at Fairmont Mara Safari Club in time for lunch. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five.

Day 6: Masai Mara
Optional morning balloon flight at Masai Mara. Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and also on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Options: Depart for full day carrying packed lunch or go for morning and afternoon game drives.
Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe. (You’ll pay USD35 per person per visit directly to the village)

Day 7: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Naivasha is one of the gems in a necklace of Rift Valley lakes, has a variety of bird life and hippo colonies. Lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort and afternoon visit to Hell’s Gate Park. Activities include hiking, rock climbing, spectacular gorge walks, bird watching and wildlife viewing. Optional sunset boat ride at Lake Naivasha (you’ll pay boat fee directly to boat owners or your hotel).

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast, begin your journey to Nairobi through the floor of the Rift Valley. Make a brief stop at the Rift Valley view point to allow you view the escarpment below and take photos with Mt Longonot in the background.
1220hrs-1400hrs: Lunch at New Rangers Restaurant:
Arrive at New Rangers Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant is located at the Nairobi National Park main gate. The restaurant’s Twiga Terrance offers a perfect view of wild animals grazing and drinking water at Kisima water hole just 10 metres away as you enjoy your lunch.
1410hrs-1530hrs: Giraffe Center:
Afterwards, depart for the Giraffe Center located near Hardy Shopping Centre in Nairobi’s Lang’ata suburb. The visit gives you and the children a completely up close and personal interaction with giraffes and you will be allowed to feed them. It’s fun for all who visit the Giraffe Centre. You feed giraffes by hand, take a guided nature walk and see a bull in the wild if you’re lucky, learn about the different types of giraffes. This will definitely be unique adventure experience for your family, especially children.
1550hrs- 1800hrs: Bomas of Kenya:
Drive to Bomas of Kenya, a tourist village in the nearby Lang’ata suburb. Bomas (meaning homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes, aimed at promoting Kenya’s rich cultural diversity of her 42 tribes. You’ll tour traditional villages for a series of tribal cultural shows entertainment.
1830hrs-1945hrs: Carnivore Restaurant: Complementary dinner (paid by Adventure African Jungle Ltd) at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. After dinner, transfer to Sankara Hotel for overnight.

Day 9: Nairobi – Seychelles
After breakfast in your hotel, our driver will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your 0905hrs Flight KQ 450H to Seychelles. Arrive at Mahe International Airport at 1320hrs. A representative of Constance Ephelia Resort will pick you from the airport and transfer you to their hotel. You will be accommodated in a double junior suite.

Day 10-11: Seychelles
Spend whole days on the beaches or plan them as per your taste.

A representative of Constance Ephelia Resort will transfer you to Mahe International Airport to catch your 1410hrs KQ 451H to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, arriving in Nairobi at 1620hrs. You’ll then connect your international flight home.
