Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Arusha

Welcome to for your Tanzania safari combined with honeymoon package in Zanzibar! Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Arusha for overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Rest and relax in your hotel or explore Arusha town.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy your lunch at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Afterwards, set off for afternoon game drives in the Lake National in search of hippos, monkeys, the rare tree-climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. Lunch at Ndutu Safari Lodge. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

Day 4: Serengeti

Depart for an early morning around your lodge, return to the lodge for breakfast. Mid morning, depart for Kirawira Luxury Serengeti Tented Camp, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, set off for afternoon game drives till sunset.

The camp is situated on a hilltop overlooking the vast plains of the western edge of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp is close to the Grumeti River, famed for its giant crocodiles, and the surrounding vegetation is home to a wide variety of game including the Big Five. If you are there between July and October, you may witness the impressive annual wildebeest migration.

Day 5: Serengeti

Full day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous due to annual migration of over one million white bearded wildebeest and 200,000 zebra to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve in search of pasture.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge archaeological site (carrying packed lunch from Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp). This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 metres) to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Tarangire

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving at Tarangire Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and lions.

Day 8: Tarangire – Zanzibar

After breakfast, bid good bye to Tarangire National Park and drive to Arusha Town. After lunch, transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your early afternoon flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar Airport at 2220hrs, pick up and transfer to Karafuu Beach Resort & Spa, one of the most luxurious hotels on the east coast of Zanzibar. On arrival at the hotel, you’ll receive a complementary fruit & flowers basket and a bottle of wine. Accommodation will be in a cottage room on half board (breakfast and dinner).

Day 9-12: Zanzibar Beach Holiday
